1:10 Bush Plane

I’ve always wanted to add a small pond with a classis Alaskan bush plane on floats tied to a dock.

A friend gave me a CG Eagle 2 kit but it just wasn’t quite what I was looking for.

Google to the rescue. I found a Canadian gentleman by the name of Robert Noorduyn who designed the Noorduyn Norseman which was produced from 1935 to 1959, originally by Noorduyn Aircraft Ltd. and later by the Canada Car and Foundry company.

This is the real deal. Classic Northwoods bush plane.

It had a wingspan of approximately 51′, 6″ which at 1:10 is 61.8″

This kit measures 63″, close enough.
